Hello all

Hello all, Michele here and I'll be updating our page for the next week and hope to keep you all updated on our fine art group page. We have had a busy week organising our 2nd year show, well in facts 'shows' as we have been fortunate in booking two galleries rather than one. As quickly as we booked them we found that every gallery was indeed getting snapped up, so our timing was perfect. Swansea especially will be very busy this year as it is hosting many Dylan Thomas celebrations and expects lots of tourists with an interest in the writer. So please also come along and see some Welsh artists work at the Elysium Gallery in College Street, Swansea if you are visiting, you are most welcome! So, our first 2nd Year show(that's a difficult thing to say!) will be held at the Elysium Gallery from April 1st 2014 until the 6th of April, from 10am each day. We will have an opening evening and invitations will be send out and if you are interested please contact us on this page(all are welcome) or speak to the individual artist's if you prefer. Our show is called 'Moments in Time' and I will upload more details and images as soon as I am able. This show will move directly to Cardiff on the 7th of April for a week and will be held at the Norwegian Church in Cardiff Bay. Again, more detail will be added to this page as we are nearer to the date. As a team we are getting so much experience for all of this planning, so many things have to be considered,.. marketing images, artists statements relevant to each particular show, the practicalities of meeting with Gallery owners, size of galleries, parking, drop off points, advertising with local and further afield press, opening evenings, health and safety aspects, insurance, beverage facilities, the list goes on and on! But a great learning curve for us all and of course each time we are more aware of what is needed; plus of course we have had great support from the Galleries themselves and a big thank you to them for their professionalism! I will add some images of our groups work to give you an idea of what you may expect to see in our shows. Thanks for reading and we welcome your comments.
